IFS Food
Control Union, an entity with a global network of specialized auditors, can provide IFS Food certification services to companies around the world.
GRS – Global Recycled Standard
The GRS is a comprehensive, voluntary, international product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions.
EU – REGULATION EEC NO. 834/2007 OF ORGANIC PRODUCTION GERMANY
Since the beginning of regulated European Union (EU) organic certification, we serve companies all over the world with a wide range of services including organic certification.
Bio Suisse
Bio Suisse is the private label of the Swiss organic market and the owner of the Bud trademark. Its standards are private law guidelines and exceed the minimum legal requirements in essential aspects (EU-Eco-Regulation 2018/848 or equivalent).
USDA – NOP Organic Regulation for USA
The US authority (US Department of Agriculture) accredits Control Union Certifications for the National Organic Program (NOP).
Organic Chile
For exporting organic products from Chile to the European Union, if the products are covered under the agreement on trade of organic products, certification under the Chilean law is the one that prevail.
JAS
The Japanese authority (MAFF) accredits CUC for the organic program (JAS organic). Our global network of offices, under the umbrella of our accredited Dutch head office, allows us to make certification efficient and cost effective, whilst maintaining the same stringent professional auditing and certification procedures.
SMETA – 2 pillar and 4 pillar assessments
Control Union offers SMETA (Sedex Member Ethical Trade Audit) auditing, a method developed by the multi stakeholder consultation initiative, Sedex. SMETA’s role is to align social audit standards and monitoring practices, to ease the auditing burden on suppliers by sharing reports and driving improvements in supply chain labour standards.
