About this Standard
The Law 20.089 – National System for Certification or Organic Agricultural Products established the requirements for marketing products represented as organic, ecologic or biologic. Control Union is accredited by the National Standardization Institute (INN, by its acronym in Spanish) and registered with the Chilean National System of Organic Certification of the Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG, by its acronym in Spanish).
The Chilean Organic Regulation is recognized as equivalent to the European Union (EU) Organic standard. Control Union is registered by the EU so that products certified under the Chilean organic standard could be exported as organic to Europe, issuing the required Certificate of Inspection (CoI) through the EU digital platform called TRACES.
Why choose this Standard?
